“Alive” is the first release from Michael Wimberly’s “Afrofuturism” series that comes out on Temple Mountain Records (TMR). The song celebrates the power of love and this video expresses a great visualization of lovers' interactions' showing seductive moments and glances that happen between lovers when playfully enticing each other. As the song progresses, we see him reflecting in the early morning about their love as he travels into the city. Once at the recording session, he lets it all out as he sings about his love for her and their shared devotion, gratitude, and being alive.
Alive features the neo-soul vocals and guitar stylings of Sharief Hobley, Cloe Parker –background vocals, Michael Wimberly - keys and background vocals, Trevor Allen - bass, and Jonathan Joseph - drums.
